Do I need a fishing license to fish from Coastline Fishing Pier?

Yes. A Florida fishing license is required to land saltwater species in Florida regardless of where they are caught. Fishing Licenses are available at Fisherman’s Choice in Eastpoint, FL, or you can purchase online here.

Where is the closest beach?

St. George Island is the closest beach (around 7-10 miles from here). Follow Hwy 98 going west and turn left onto Island Drive. This will take you directly to St. George Island and the beaches there.

Where are nearby trails for hiking, jogging, or walking?

CC Land Road directly behind the Coastline Resort and Campground
Dwarf Cypress Boardwalk in Tate’s Hell State Forest (follow Hwy 98 going west and turn left onto Route 65)
St. George Island (paved trails spanning the entire island and hiking trails in the St. George Island State Park)
Apalachicola Botanical Gardens (follow Hwy 98 going east, stay straight across the bridges and through town, the Botanical Gardens will be on the left)

Fishermans Choice is the best choice in Eastpoint. In addition to bait and tackle, their staff is experienced, knowledgeable, and happy to share fishing tips.

There are wonderful restaurants and bars all over the Forgotten Coast, but if you want to stay close to your campsite, there is no need to travel beyond Eastpoint.

Coastline RV Resort is proud to offer a propane station where we can fill your RV and bottles. This new facility also offers bottle exchange and is open to the public.
